OneDrive Photos Will Disappear from Samsung Gallery After September 30

Microsoft has confirmed that Samsung will remove OneDrive integration from the Samsung Gallery app on Galaxy phones starting September 30, 2026. After that date, photos previously synced to OneDrive will no longer appear in the Gallery app, though they will remain safely stored and accessible through the OneDrive app or website. Samsung is shifting users toward its own cloud service for photo backups, ending a partnership that began in 2019. Galaxy users who prefer OneDrive can still use it, but they must enable photo backup directly through the OneDrive app instead of the built‑in Gallery sync.
