Google has introduced the Pixel Tag, a $29 Bluetooth and UWB tracker designed to compete directly with Apple’s AirTag. The Pixel Tag integrates with Google’s Find Hub network, allowing Android devices worldwide to help locate lost items, similar to Apple’s Find My ecosystem. Users can ring and locate the tag not only from their phone but also from a Pixel Watch. The device features a slim, elongated design that differs from AirTag’s round shape, measuring 1.1 inches wide, 1.8 inches tall and 0.2 inches thick. It includes Bluetooth and UWB for precision finding, an IP67 rating and a user‑replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts about a year. Unlike AirTag, it lacks NFC but maintains comparable durability and weight. Google will sell the Pixel Tag for $29 individually or $99 for a four‑pack starting November 11, 2026. The device is intended for everyday items like keys and bags, expanding Google’s hardware ecosystem.
