However, Oracle warns that if demand drops or these unprofitable AI startups fail to pay their rent, it could be left footing the immense bills. The company also highlighted global constraints in securing reliable, cost-effective power sources alongside widespread engineering and regulatory hurdles. Despite a 40 percent drop in its stock price over the past month, Oracle plans to increase capital expenditures to 70 billion dollars for the 2027 fiscal year.
