Tuta has launched a closed beta of Tuta Drive, a cloud storage service built with quantum‑safe encryption, positioning itself ahead of Google Drive and OneDrive, which have not yet committed to quantum‑resistant timelines. The service uses a hybrid cryptographic protocol and a zero‑knowledge architecture, ensuring even Tuta cannot decrypt user files. All data is hosted in Germany under strict privacy laws, and the storage integrates with Tuta’s existing email and calendar ecosystem. The company says this is a step toward offering a fully private digital workspace.
