Canva has made another major creative tool free: the professional 2D animation platform Cavalry, which now offers all its features without a subscription. The move follows Canva’s decision to make Affinity free, and both products are receiving new integrations, including AI‑powered automation via Claude and direct export from Affinity to Canva Brand Kits. Cavalry’s shift from a paid Pro tier to fully free access aims to democratize advanced motion design tools for creators. Affinity also gains expanded support for .af files in Capture One and DaVinci Resolve, strengthening Canva’s push toward a full‑stack creative ecosystem.
