Apple’s Next iPhone Air Coming in 2027 With Better Photos and Longer Battery Life
Apple is preparing a new iPhone Air for spring 2027, and Bloomberg reports that the device will finally gain a dual‑lens camera system with a Wide and Ultra Wide lens. The model has reached advanced testing and keeps the same design as the current version, with the extra lens being the main visible change. Apple also aims to improve battery life, either through a larger battery or efficiency gains from the new A20 chip built on a 2nm process. The upgrade addresses the biggest customer complaint about the current iPhone Air, which has only one rear camera and lags behind even the cheaper iPhone 17. The new iPhone Air will launch alongside the iPhone 18 lineup, including the Pro models and Apple’s first foldable iPhone.
