At Computex 2026, AMD delivered a consumer‑friendly message to PC gamers: long‑term platform stability. The company introduced two new gaming CPUs, including the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, and confirmed that the AM5 socket will be supported through 2029, giving buyers confidence that today’s motherboards will handle multiple future CPU generations. AMD also launched the Radeon RX 9070 GRE, a 12GB RDNA 4 GPU targeting mainstream 1440p gaming at 549 dollars. While new hardware is always exciting, AMD’s biggest win is reassuring gamers that they won’t need frequent, expensive rebuilds.
