YouTube Lets Users Turn Off Shorts Entirely on Mobile

YouTube now allows users to completely hide Shorts by setting the Shorts feed limit to zero minutes in the mobile app. Previously, the lowest limit was 15 minutes, but the new option removes short‑form videos from the feed entirely, though individual Shorts may still appear. The feature was initially tied to parental controls but is now available to all users. YouTube says the change aims to help reduce doomscrolling and give people more control over their viewing experience.
