Tesla secures key European green light for its supervised self-driving system
Tesla has received approval from the Dutch vehicle authority RDW to launch its Full Self-Driving Supervised system in the Netherlands, marking its first entry into Europe. RDW stated that the system underwent more than 18 months of testing on tracks and public roads and was found to positively contribute to road safety. Regulators emphasized that the system is not fully autonomous and that drivers must remain responsible and in control at all times. The rollout is expected to begin soon, according to Tesla Europe.
