A leaked engineering sample suggests Nvidia’s first laptop chip, the ARM‑based N1, is real and potentially close to launch. The motherboard listing shows an N1 chip paired with an unusually large 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM, hinting at high‑performance ambitions for thin and light Windows on ARM laptops. Nvidia is expected to reveal the N1 and its more powerful N1X variant at Computex in June, despite industry‑wide RAM shortages driving up laptop prices. If successful, Nvidia could disrupt a market currently dominated by Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm.
