Nvidia has introduced a new partnership model that allows fast-growing startups to exchange future revenue for access to compute power, addressing one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI development. The program provides token credits that startups can use to run workloads on Nvidia-powered infrastructure, effectively giving them early access to large-scale GPU clusters. Two initial partners, Sharon AI and Firmus Technologies, will supply more than 200,000 GPUs, including a massive upcoming data center in Batam, Indonesia. The move highlights the scarcity and rising strategic value of GPUs, which are increasingly compared to oil and even tied to futures contracts. Nvidia’s initiative also reflects a broader trend of AI firms entering revenue or equity-sharing deals to overcome liquidity constraints. The company is simultaneously preparing a 20 billion dollar debt raise to support its long-term expansion.
