Nvidia and Sega are renewing their historic partnership three decades after Sega’s investment saved Nvidia from bankruptcy. The new collaboration brings Virtua Fighter Crossroads to Nvidia’s Arm-based RTX Spark platform, with support for ray tracing, DLSS and Nvidia’s latest AI-driven rendering tools. Nvidia hinted that additional Sega titles may also arrive on Spark, including rumored franchises like Alien Isolation 2, Total War Warhammer 40,000, Yakuza and Persona. The announcement was made during a celebratory event in Tokyo marking 30 years of cooperation between the companies. Jensen Huang highlighted how Sega’s $5 million investment in the 1990s kept Nvidia alive, ultimately enabling the creation of its breakthrough Riva 128 and GeForce 256 GPUs.
