Microsoft Adds Cloud Driver Rollbacks to Boost PC Stability
Microsoft is introducing Cloud-Initiated Driver Recovery, a new Windows Update feature that automatically rolls back faulty drivers to a stable version without requiring user action. The system addresses a long-standing issue where users or hardware partners had to manually fix problematic drivers, often leaving devices unstable for extended periods. Microsoft plans to continue testing through August and begin rolling out the feature to Windows PCs in September, aiming to significantly improve system reliability.
