Iran has identified nearly 30 facilities belonging to major US tech companies—including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, IBM, Oracle, and Palantir—as potential targets for retaliatory strikes, according to Iran‑affiliated Tasnim News. The list includes datacenters, R&D hubs, and regional offices across Bahrain, Israel, Qatar, and the UAE, following recent drone attacks on three AWS datacenters in the region. Iranian military officials framed this as part of an expanding “infrastructure warfare” strategy, warning that US and Israeli economic centers and banks may also be targeted. The attacks have already disrupted cloud services and prompted companies like Snowflake and Red Hat to urge customers to activate disaster‑recovery plans.
