While AI adoption is rising, most workers say their employers haven’t communicated a clear integration strategy, creating an adoption gap and limiting impact. Companies that actively deploy AI are also seeing more hiring and layoffs, signaling structural shifts driven by automation. Despite productivity gains, AI is speeding up existing workflows rather than transforming them.
