Google brings full NotebookLM functionality directly into Gemini

Google has fully integrated its research tool NotebookLM into the Gemini app, allowing users to create notebooks directly inside the chatbot. Users can add sources such as PDFs, documents, URLs, YouTube videos, and pasted text, enabling NotebookLM to build a searchable knowledge base and generate reviewers, infographics, and video or audio overviews. Google warns that NotebookLM may still produce inaccuracies, so users should double‑check outputs. The integration is rolling out this week for Google AI Ultra, Pro, and Plus subscribers, with mobile and free‑tier availability coming soon.
