Europe prepares mandatory removal of Huawei and ZTE from critical networks
The European Commission has renewed its warning against using Huawei and ZTE equipment, expanding the scope from 5G networks to all critical connectivity infrastructure. While the recommendation remains non-binding, it accompanies a new cybersecurity law that would make the exclusion of high-risk vendors mandatory within 36 months.
