Apple’s upcoming Siri 2.0 for iOS 27 may launch with a beta label and even a waitlist, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The upgrade aims to transform Siri into a full AI assistant powered by Google’s Gemini models, though Apple will not brand it as such. Some features originally promised in 2024, including deeper app integration and personalized data access, are expected to finally arrive. Siri 2.0 will debut at WWDC 2026, alongside a new interface tied to the Dynamic Island and synced conversations across devices.
