Apple says no one using Lockdown Mode has been hacked with spyware

Apple says it has not seen a single successful spyware attack on devices with Lockdown Mode enabled, nearly four years after launching the feature. Designed to protect high-risk users from government-grade spyware like NSO’s Pegasus and Intellexa’s Predator, Lockdown Mode disables commonly exploited features on iPhones and other Apple devices. Independent researchers from Amnesty International and Citizen Lab confirm they’ve seen Lockdown Mode actively block attacks. Experts say the feature significantly reduces the attack surface and forces spyware developers to use more complex methods. While Apple admits its users can be targeted, Lockdown Mode appears to be holding strong.
