Anthropic signs biggest compute deal yet with Google and Broadcom
Anthropic has signed its largest compute deal to date, securing access to roughly 3.5 gigawatts of next‑generation Google TPU capacity through Broadcom starting in 2027. The agreement highlights Broadcom’s growing role as a critical infrastructure provider, as the chipmaker will supply custom TPU designs and components for Google’s AI data racks through 2031. Anthropic revealed that its revenue run rate has surpassed $30bn, driven by explosive enterprise adoption and a multi‑cloud strategy spanning AWS Trainium, Google TPUs and Nvidia GPUs.
