A newly formed Russian company, Tramplin Electronics, claims to have developed 16‑core and 32‑core “Irtysh” processors, but evidence shows they are rebranded Chinese Loongson LS3C6000 chips. The specifications, packaging, and performance numbers match Loongson’s CPUs exactly, making it highly unlikely that Tramplin designed any original silicon. Russia, unable to legally obtain AMD or Intel processors due to sanctions, appears to be relying on Chinese hardware while presenting it as domestic technology. Experts note that the company is less than a year old, making true CPU development impossible within that timeframe.
